  • A quick way to test whether your air conditioner has died is to turn it on and see if the compressor turns on. If the compressor doesn't turn on, then it's likely that your air conditioner has died. Other things you can check include: checking whether the fan is turning on, checking to see if there's any cold air coming out of the vents, and checking the outdoor unit to see if it's turned on. If you think your air conditioner might have died, then we recommend scheduling a service appointment with one of our technicians. They can come out and take a look at your air conditioner and determine what needs to be done in order to get it up and running again.

air conditioner. If your air conditioner is not cooling your home as well as it used to, there are several things you can do to troubleshoot the problem: -Check to make sure the filter is clean. A dirty filter will impede airflow and reduce cooling efficiency. -Make sure all the registers in your home are open and that nothing is blocking them. -Clean the evaporator coil if it is dirty. A dirty evaporator coil will reduce cooling efficiency. If you have tried these things and your air conditioner still isn't cooling your home properly, it might be time to replace it.
