  • There are a few key signs that termites have caused damage in your home. Here are some of the most common symptoms:-Gallery trails: If you see small, muddy tunnels that zigzag along your walls or ceilings, it's likely that termites are eating away at the wood.-Hollowed out wood: Termites feast on the cellulose in wood, so if you notice any wooden beams or furniture starting to crack or crumble, it's likely that they've been infested by termites. -Discarded wings: Termites swarm during certain times of year, and when they do, they will leave their wings behind.

The best way to determine if you have bad termite damage is to have an annual termite inspection. If you notice any of the following signs, it's likely that you have a termite infestation:- Wood that sounds hollow when tapped- Swarmers (winged insects) near doors or windows- Mud tubes on the exterior of your home- Damage to wood, such as shredded wood, tunneling, or bubbling paint
