My faucet isn't working. Whom do I call? Can a handyman be able to help me?

  • If your faucet isn't working, you can call a plumber. A handyman may be able to help you fix a simple faucet issue, but if it's something more complicated, you'll need to call a plumber.

Depending on where you live, you may be able to call a plumber or a handyman. A handyman is someone who does general repairs around the house, and a plumber is someone who specializes in plumbing. If your faucet isn't working, it's likely that there is something wrong with the faucet itself or with the pipes leading to and from the faucet. In most cases, a plumber would be better equipped than a handyman to diagnose and fix the problem. However, if you're comfortable enough doing basic repairs yourself, you may be able to fix the problem by tightening some screws or replacing some washers.
