  • It's not hard to become a home appraiser, but it is important to have the proper education and training. Most appraisers have at least a bachelor's degree in real estate, economics, or a related field. And most states require appraisers to be licensed and/or certified. The best way to become an appraiser is to find an appraisal company that is willing to train you on the job. This can be a bit difficult, but it's definitely possible. There are also many appraisal schools and courses available online and in person. So there are plenty of ways to get the education and training you need to become an appraiser.

It depends on your qualifications and experience. Generally, it is not hard to become a home appraiser if you have a degree in real estate, architecture, or engineering. However, if you do not have a degree in one of these areas, you will need to have several years of experience as a real estate broker or agent.
