1. Remove the gutter from its packaging and lay it out on the ground so that all of the pieces are visible.2. Attach the end caps to both of the open ends of the gutter using the screws and screwdriver provided.3. Locate one of the side pieces, and hold it up against one end of the gutter so that it is touching both the top and bottom edges of the gutter. Mark where each end of the side piece meets with the gutter using a pencil or other sharp object. Do this for both side pieces. 4. Cut along each line you have just drawn, using a hacksaw or similar tool.
You should use a level to ensure that the gutter is straight. Mark the positions of the screws or nails that will be used to attach the gutter to the fascia with a pencil. Drill pilot holes for the screws or nails at each mark. Drive in the screws or nails. If you are using adhesive, spread it over the top of the gutter with a brush and attach it to the fascia.
