  • My refrigeration system isn't working. How do you troubleshoot a refrigeration system? The first step is to determine if the problem is with the compressor, the condenser, the evaporator, or the controls. Once you've identified which part is not working, you can start troubleshooting that part of the system. If you're having trouble with your compressor, for example, you might check to see if it's getting power and whether it's running hot. If it's not getting power, you might check your fuse box or wiring. If it's running hot, you might have a seized bearing or a clogged compressor cooling coil.

There are a few basic things you can do to troubleshoot a refrigeration system that isn't working. First, make sure the compressor is running. If the compressor isn't running, there's probably something wrong with the compressor or it's not getting power. Second, check to see if the fan is running. If the fan isn't running, there may be something blocking the airflow or there may be a problem with the fan motor. Third, check to see if the condenser coil is dirty. If it is dirty, clean it off and try restarting the refrigerator.
