The water is released through the water supply line, making its way through refrigeration and then finally into a water filter. The water is then frozen into ice cubes with the help of a thermostat; after the ice cubes are formed, the thermostat shuts off the water. Then the machine turns on the heater so that the ice cubes get released from the mould. The ejection mechanism of the ice maker then dispenses the slightly warmed ice cubes from the machine.
